Walk led by Rich Holschuh of the Elnu Abenaki Tribe and Atowi Project. The walk includes a beautiful upriver view of the Connecticut, and many woodland plants are sprouting. The trail has been rerouted and includes a short rather steep section to get to the flat hilltop. If you have a walking stick bring it, and wear sturdy shoes. In a couple of places, you need to step over a fallen tree of 1 foot diameter or so. And since it’s spring we know the ticks are out, so do prepare for it. King Philip’s Hill is a wonderful, historic, half-mile loop of moderate hiking, we’ll see you there!
